Unity is Strength

Some of today was spent planning for the nationwide day of action on the 5th November. In line with a decision of the Union's annual delegate meeting, events will take place across all areas of the Union. In broadcasting, working with our colleagues in other Unions, events will centre around the damaging recent announcements at ITV and heavily trailed cuts at the BBC. Employers often seek to divide staff and members, however, with both major employers seeming to suffer from temporary insanity at the same time, their plans may have a unifying effect.
